The minimum contract
period is 3 months on our broadband service. If
you need to cancel before the 3 months are completed,
we will have to charge you for the remaining term
of the period.
Cancelling my telephone contract
with BT
Any cancellation
or change of your contract with BT for the telephone
line on which the Broadband/ADSL service is set
up (installation line) will automatically stop
the broadband on the installation line and your
broadband Service provided by fairBroadband would
stop. Try to avoid having this situation happening
to you. Should this happen to you before the end
of the minimum period contract of 3 mths, you
will be charged a penalty fee for the remaining
term of the minimum period.
I am moving house
can I still keep my broadband connection?
It depends on when
you are going to move house. Within the first
3 months after applying for fairBroadband's broadband
you will be charged a fee, because broadband
is not transferable. Again, if you move house
before
the end of the minimum contract period, you will
be charged a penalty fee for the remaining 3
mths. Reapplying for broadband at a new address
is subject
to availability. Re-sign up for a new order and
enter a new minimum period contract.
Yes, to subscribe
to fairBroadband's broadband service, you must
have a BT telephone line and account. Our broadband
service and charges are separate from standard
phone rental fees. All VOICE calls will be charged
by BT as normal.
